ebaix is a Swiss association consulting organizations on strategic issues, carrying out evaluations and accompanying learning processes – in  humanitarian aid and development programmes

• Actually ebaix is lecturing the training course “Starter Package in Humanitarian Aid” of the academy for humanitarian action (aha) at the Ruhr University Bochum and consulting various organizations in strategic issues
• 2020/21 ebaix was evaluating the Swiss Humanitarian Aid Unit (SHA) in close cooperation with KEK-Consulting
• From 2016 until 2019, ebaix has developed with the University of Bern a training course in humanitarian aid for professionals, together with a number of experienced and independent humanitarian practitioners, with the active participation of the Geneva based donor organization Swiss Solidarity, and more than 20 INGOs from Switzerland, Germany, Austria and Luxembourg

 

• Between 2013 and 2015 ebaix was accompanying a cross-organizational learning process with different Swiss organizations. Reconstruction programs in six countries were assessed with a long term perspective. In cooperation with different Swiss organizations various approaches for successful learning were applied:
  • Learning in a safe environment
  • Learning directly from the affected people
  • Learning from a long term perspective
  • Learning with films
